Can you create a single paid subscription that unlocks premium content across multiple iOS apps?
-
Basically if you had diverse iOS apps (games, video content, learning activities, etc...) but that shared an overaching brand would it be possible to have a single subscription that unlocked content in all of them.
-
Answer:
Sure. But you would need some sort of server running that all of the apps would talk to. For example, take the Facebook iOS app and the Facebook Messenger app. You log into both apps with the same Facebook credentials, and sending a message in one app is reflected in the message history of the other. Similarly, if you had two apps talking to your own server, your server could set the `is_subscriber` flag to true for whichever apps you want to give the user access to.
