Is it possible to swipe between images in Swift iOS?

Why are my .png images in my ios app different in colours than in photoshop?

  • Hi! I am currently doing the UI for my iOS app and I keep getting different colours for the images between Photoshop and iOS. I followed this article, http://bjango.com/articles/photoshop/, but the images on my iPad (mini) are much brighter and different. It is VERY annoying! Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

  • Answer:

Is there any difference between what you see in photoshop and what you export as PNG? I presume you export using 'save for web'? If there is no difference between PSD and PNG it could be a monitor calibration issue. I have two DELL U2412Ms calibrated with Spyder4Express. Results are more than excellent considering you're not going to do any serious print design work.

The display on the iPad is not color managed. The best you can do is make sure that your computer is properly managed (profiled, at least, but also calibrated helps -- make sure you know the difference). There's not much else you can do. Consider the iPad an uncontrolled environment.
