    If you 'learn' qur'anic Arabic then you'll have to rely on translations of Arabic words into English, just as you would with learning any other language. For instance, if I 'm learning Spanish, I need to know that 'coche' means 'car'. However, muslims say that many of the qur'anic Arabic words are untranslatable (incomprehensible, in other words), so you wouldn't be any better off.

When you read Arabic and you are a native speaker (or really good at it) it does indeed bring tears to people's eyes. I know how to read in Arabic but I have to rely on the Urdu/English translations
