How do I fix "load paper" problem on my HP 8500 printer?

I have refilled my paper tray numerous times and continue to get the "load paper" message. What gives? Is this a mechanical problem, sensor, etc that will need a technician ...show more

Make sure nothing has fallen into the area where the paper loads, a paper clip or something else small can cause problems. Try turning it off and then back on again.
