How do I get encrypted folders off of my hard drive?

Well, you'd have to put it into another computer, boot up, then decrypt it with the password, then download migration assistant from the Apples website to transfer the information to your mac. Ask a friend to borrow his computer, although it would require some knowledge of inside a computer, or just youtube it. Be careful though as there are many components in a computer which are sensitive to static electricity-you have this on you at all times unless you 'ground' yourself, you could always just use an external display.
