Probably not. There's too many Republicans in Congress who prefer to keep things broken in America just to deny a Democratic president any of the credit for fixing them. Republicans are much too partisan to be real patriots.

That depends on gaining the majority of seats in the House and a filibuster proof majority in the Senate. Expecting anything to be done with Republicans holding any fraction of power is fantasy. All they want to do is stop good ideas that help average Americans.
