How do you make sugar wax at home?

Do you know how to make sugar/honey wax?

  • I tried sugar wax But it's less effective May i make honey hair removal waxing? I want to make wax and be effective hair removal

  • Answer:

Microwave Version 1 Cups Sugar - The sugar can be any kind of sugar, white, dark, brown, but only granulated 1/4 Cup Honey Juice From One Half Lemon Combine items in a large glass bowl then heat in the microwave on high for 30 seconds, then take out and mix it. Continue to heat and mix the sugar wax in 20 second increments after that for five to seven times. The mixture will bubble heavily, so keep a close watch and stir frequently to ensure that the mixture isn't burning. Checking your mixture, when it's done, it should be bubbly and somewhat thicker than it was when you first mixed it, look like the melted peanut butter. You don't want it to be too thick, because that means your wax is overcooked and won't work properly. Once it is thick and amber in color, take it out and stir the mixture until it is smooth and bubble free. Allow to cool down a bit before pouring into a glass canning jar and letting it rest till it's at room temperature. ------------------------------------ Heating Directions 2 Cups Sugar - The sugar can be any kind of sugar, white, dark, brown, but only granulated 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice - Freshly squeezed 1/4 Cup Water Get a medium-big sized pot. The reason you need such a big pot for a small batch is that the mixture starts to bubble and it can overflow if you use a small pot. Stir over medium heat to a boil. Then, turn the heat down to low-medium and allow the solution to simmer for about 25 minutes until it turns a dark shade of amber. It is critical to allow the solution to reach this dark color because if it doesn't cook long enough, the consistency won't be pliable enough for sugaring to work. After the sugaring solution has cooled off, pour it into an airtight container immediately. If action is not taken then the wax will stick to the pot and end up ruining the pot or causing a major cleanup later. Careful! This will cause serious burns if it's not cooled down properly before applying. Before apply the wax, to re-heat, simply warm over another pot of simmering water. Try this , Ingredients 1 cup (250ml) granulated sugar 1 cup (250ml) honey 1/2 cup (125 ml) lemon juice Melt the sugar. In a medium-heavy saucepan, add the sugar and cook over medium-high heat, without stirring—just an occasional swirl of the pan—until the sugar begins to caramelize. This will smell delicious!Stir in the honey and lemon juice with a wooden spoon. Be careful: the sugar will be very foamy, and very hot. Continue stirring until the mixture has melted and has the consistency of pancake batter. If the mixture is too thick, add water 1 tablespoon at a time until you have the right consistency.Let the wax cool slightly before you use it. If you want to use it later, let it cool, then refrigerate it. Enjoy :)
