    They've already decided to hire you. I have had a few jobs where I gave them a voided check and they just do the forms themselves. It's nothing to worry over, it truly is just for direct deposit.

The voided check is for post-hiring reasons, to direct deposit your paycheck into your account. It sounds like the Interview/Payroll info process gets taken care of in one visit, if they like you they hire you on spot and have you fill out the paperwork while you're there. Usually there's an extensive hiring process and a voided check wouldn't be necessary until you're hired. Given the industry, it doesn't surprise me that they would have an expedited process.

the voided check has your account number & bank routing number on it. they want it do direct deposit your paychecks. it's a good backup to ensure the money gets to the right place.
