Is Google Homepage the most expensive place in the world for Advertisement?

The home page is not for sale, and I cannot imagine that there is any rational number that would make Google's founders reconsider.

Google homepage has less value than a Google search page, since in the latter case a user has described his/her intent. A car ad is more useful to a car searcher than a typical searcher, a flower ad is more useful to a flower searcher than a typical searcher. The average value of a Google search page is about 10 cents (after rounding). The value of a Google homepage should not be more than a cent (outside of the search bar), and even that would be too expensive. The only company which occasionally buys ad on the google homepage is google itself. I have seen internal google ads on google homepage. If you account for the fact that many tech savvy people reach google through their browser's search functionality, people who still see google homepage are either doing it for a popular doodle or because they are on average relatively not as tech savvy, you may get a number far below a penny for google homepage. for some ad, due to novelty value, google may get a lot more, but if google decides to monetize it on a perpetual basis, you should not expect a high price. the most valuable thing on a google homepage is google search bar, which as i said is about 10 cents, but anything else if google decides to display there, would be of much lower value.
