How to learn anything fast?

How do I learn anything fast and in an efficient manner?

  • Answer:

Make sure you find it interesting. If you don't think it is interesting, find a way to make it interesting. If it is math, things will get interesting only if you're able to do it successfully without having to look at a guide book. Work on the easier problems first and then go the tougher ones. Solving the easier ones will give you confidence and skill, and as you go on for the tougher ones, things will eventually get better. Compare the science that you are learning to what you see in real life. Physics and Chemistry, or even Biology. In your day-to-day life you come across a lot of situations which you can compare to what is in your school textbooks. These were just two examples. There are many more. Business, art, architecture, or anything can be easily compared to what we have out there in the world. Explore and learn. You just need to be determined. And for that determination, you will have to find it interesting. But most importantly, though, you should be in a good state, both physically and mentally. Be happy and be healthy. Only when you don't have anything to worry about, will you be able to learn new things. Only when your mind is free from any other thoughts, will it be able to concentrate on new things. So, if your past is troubling you, learn to forget it and move on. However, you will never be able to learn something if you don't want to. You can't always create interest for something. Taking myself as an example, I always hated math. I tried creating an interest for it, but it never worked. Math isn't my thing. So i don't study math. Everybody is different. You may like something that might be so boring to someone else. But that is nothing to be ashamed of. So if you are unable to create an interest for something, make sure you find something else as soon as possible. Don't be idle for too long. Meet new people, always! When you meet new people, you always come across new ideas. New things to learn.

Focus on memory efficiency. By far, we waste more time on attempted memorization than anything else (studying, testing, homework, etc...). Once you improve the efficiency of your memory, the need for those things simply disappears and you'll be able to spend most of your  time on the fun stuff - reading, experimenting, doing, starting a company, and otherwise actually putting your new knowledge to use. Achieving this goal is exactly what I set out to do when I started http://ReBilderU.com - an accelerated learning platform that uses Guided Mnemonics to allow anyone to learn with a near perfect memory. We're a young company but our users already average 90%+ reduced learning times, better recall, increased/sustained motivation, and greater ability across the board. Unfortunately, the idea that memory is key to learning efficiency is largely/completely ignored by mainstream education administrators. Instead they complain about class size and teacher salaries - two statistically meaningless data points.

Look, anything should never be measured whether it's a tough or easy. If you really want to learn fast and in an efficient manner then you'll have to first concentrate on below some words:   1) What - It tells you about its applicability. 2) Why - It tells you why you want to know about it. 3) How - It tells you how can we make it useful for us.   After that, just try to learn only and forget about how fast and in an efficient way you can . Since it also depends on human capability, may be you can learn Tennis just in 15 days and I cannot. Once you get to learn Tennis then starts be master on that and also, try to remove your drawbacks.   Coming to you point - fast and in an efficient manner. So I would say that just apply your thoughts, techniques, and ideas to learn fast by being honest. What time you have to learn things is yours so just use it carefully.

I wont waste your or my time by writing long answer since I know you will be going out and learn some something that you always wanted to BUT this thing came as a barrier 1) "I have no time" (The ultimate winner) Here is the from horse's mouth who tell us that 10000 Hours rule is somewhat misunderstood You just need 20 hours from being worst in something to reasonably good.

Develop your interest, concentrate and have determination. Follow your mistakes, reflect and develop your cognitive strategies.
