How do I talk to girls at mall, get number, then leave?

Im going to the mall today with my guy friends and i would like to talk to some girls and get numbers because why not? and i always see hot girls at the mall. I always want to do this alone, i hate when other guys get involved. so i'd like to approach the girl if shes by herself. but i only want to grab her number and call her later, i dont want to ditch my friends. isn't it kind of weird to just get the number and leave? how do i do that? also if i dont know her well how am i going to get her number in the first conversation we have?
