Is there any free online whmis training available?

What training courses or reading material is available for QB Online (not desktop versions)?

  • Recently, I have been searching for training courses and reading material for QB Online, but only seem to find information for the desktop editions. I am hoping to familiarize myself with the online program in general, but also specifically searching for a way to better integrate job numbering and tracking into my QB Online system.

If you can't find anything online you can hire a QuickBooks consultant who has a lot of experience with QuickBooks online.  You can find consultants on Intuit's website http://quickbooks.intuit.com/  Click on the Accountants tab and select Find a QuickBooks Expert.  Otherwise you can do an internet search or check yelp for a consultant with good reviews.

In my experience, QuickBooks Online is not the best choice if you are needing to do much job costing.  (although I can't give you specifics without reviewing it) However, if you have Online Plus, you can attach a customer:job name to each transaction which will allow for more reporting. There are resources out there - on youtube and other community sites. However, I agree with Janine - getting some hands-on help from an experienced advisor might be your best investment.
