  The biggest development recently to impact the wealth management industry is the advent use of technology.  Consumers have embraced technology so aggressively on their cell phones that Wealth Managers that do not offer mobile or web related services are going to lost in 2014. If I can do all my banking online and pay bills online then why can't my Money Manager manage my wealth online too? We live in an age where all information has to be literally at our finger tips and undoubtedly real time data about financial picture is at the top of most people's list!                       The choice is clear- either embrace technology, stay at the forefront of technology or simply be washed away by others in the industry. Wealth managers are and will continue to move towards digitizing what was typically back office work and exposing more of the data. We will see financial predictive models that were hard to discern and understand be "simplified" for the average user via a web application. For example, enter a few parameters, and on the backend, the system will run complex models, but display intuitive, illustrative and simple to understand charts and graphs.
