All of them They are only made by a handful of manufacturers. Western Digital owns Hitachi Global Storage. Seagate owns Maxtor and who else is there? Toshiba and Samsung? They are niche players at best. SSDs are a slightly different story but every mass storage device (this includes HDD, SSD, flash drives, and memory cards) is 100% supported by Windows 8. Every single one of them. If you are asking about external HDDs, which I see you added "USB 3" for, again the answer is all of them. My preference is Touro because I can open its case extremely easily. Other cases, like Seagate's are a pain to open. I buy external drives and put them internally. It's cheaper than buying internal drives and gives me a free external drive case.
