Why aren't I able to edit my Facebook posts, a few minutes after I post them?
-
Often times, if it's an articulate post, I might make a spelling error, and I have to annoyingly delete and repost. Can you please handle this exception in good form, please? Let people edit their post for at least 120 seconds after they make the initial post. Your post feature doesn't have to be atomic.

Answer:
The only time you can't edit is if it is an ad that is already running. This is so you can't add inappropriate things to the post after it has already been approved for promotion. I'm not sure why, but sometimes if you do an edit and then try to reedit, FB will not allow you to. By the way, it doesn't really help to ask Quora to fix something on Facebook.
