What is the different between LED flash and Xenon Flash in a mobile phone?

Which mobile phones have a Xenon Flash?

  • Basically, my wife went and lost one phone, and water damaged the second one beyond repair. She is not interested in smartphone functionality (I am), but a must have requirement for both of us is Xenon Flash, as we use the phones as our main camera.

    You are not going to find many phones with a Xenon flash anymore, as LED flashes have replaced them as more power efficient, however if you are set on that I would have to say the Nokia Lumia 1020, however there are much better performers out there, like the Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 edge family, or the LG G4 and the Upcoming iPhone 6s. All of these also perform well in lowlight due to the aperture of the cameras and a xenon flash is not necessary, especially with something like the TrueTone flash on iPhones of late.
