Besides, he has a production house which specialises in movie and tv shows production(Red Chillies started Coke Studio in India) and VFX.  Red Chillies also has a 50% stake in Kolkata Knight Riders, a cricket team in the Indian Premier League, which is arguably the richest team in terms of marketable brand content. Additionally, SRK is what you call a mega star in India(and abroad). Him, as a brand is simply humongous. Thus, he does a range of brand endorsements throughout the year. There are many other actors who are hugely popular, but SRK has managed to use his popularity to gain more some more popularity.

His vast fortune includes homes in Mumbai, Delhi, Dubai and London. Much of his wealth comes from lucrative endorsement deals with companies such as Nokia, Pepsi and Tag Heuer. He is reportedly in talks with a spice brand for an endorsement which would see him pocket another US$3.4 million. His marketing skills led Forbes Middle East to recently place him No1 in their ranking of Indian leaders in business.
