Microsoft Internet Explorer: From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options. Then click the Security tab. For IE 4.x, click Custom and Settings. For IE 5.x, click Custom Level. Scroll to the Active Scripting section of the list. Click "Enable." Close and restart your browser. Netscape: From the Edit at the top of the screen, choose Preferences. From the Category list, click Advanced. Mark Enable JavaScript. Close and restart your browser. FireFox: From the Tools menu, choose Options. Then go to the "Content" tab, check the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox One way to determine this is by entering this into the URL/link box in your browser: javascript:alert('hi') When you press enter, a little popup saying 'hi' should show. If it does, JavaScript is on.
