How do I test my website for Apple retina display?
-
I am trying to replace images on my website for retina display but I do not own any Apple devices. How can I check my website on an emulator or something that exactly behaves like retina display.

Answer:
iPad has a resolution of 2048-by-1536. There are two ways that I can think of. Easy way: Download Opera mobile emulator from here http://www.opera.com/developer/tools/mobile/ and fire it up. Add a new resolution like this, the device name does not matter: Launch and there you have it: If you want a true experience though, there is a hard way. The display aspect ratio is 4:3, so setup your display to portrait mode and set your resolution to 2048*1536, and you are good to go. There will be parts of the display that do not light up, ignore them.
