    Daily. Think of it this way, sas, if something happen that was not even your fault you would be hosed. If some "other" idiot slammed into you and you were not at fault you would still have to show proof of license, registration, and insurance. That's right, just driving down the road minding your own business, you could be screwed. You gotta pay up, sas, otherwise please stay off the road. And just to add, you know what would happen if you injured, of killed, someone? Without an insurance company representation your would have to pay for all those damages out of pocket. That would be an extremely uncomfortable and financially draining situation. Much worse off that you are now. Pay up, or stay off the road, please.

In some states you have to show proof that you paid insurance in advance for you to get registration (tags) on your car; so in those states you cannot drive without insurance. However, you may be able to drive without a valid driver license...illegally, but you can. It only takes until the first time that you get pulled over by a cop to be waist-deep in trouble for doing so.

I once had a car that was five months out of registration and had no insurance.. then I got nailed here in Utah 1200 bucks the cop was nice and didnt tow the car..

a person may never get caught, but it's still stupid and you will get a ticket if you are caught
