A "brief" history of two hundred years. That's pretty funny. Why not just write "I'm incredibly lazy and not very bright. Please do my work for me." Go to your school or public library. Hey, you might not even have to use books! There are online subscription databases with information in electronic form. Your librarian can give you the urls and passwords (you'll need passwords; they pay for that content and you won't get it for free via a google search.)
