What are some hostels in Hyderabad?

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H): What is the approximate internet speed in the campus or hostels?

  • Is the whole campus wifi enabled (except for the first year students)  or they have a dedicated lan cable for hostels ?

    I can safely say that it used to vary between 10-100 Mbps. Most of the time, especially when downloading from YouTube or torrents, I used to get speeds of around 100Mbps (~12MBps). I can safely assume that the loss of this kind of an always on internet connection will be one of the gaping holes in my life now that I've left college. :-P P.S. Note that the maximum speed of my LAN port is 100 Mbps. So, chances are that the actual speed of the connection might be even more.
