How to play video Using Url On Android?

How do I play a video in Android with zero volume while simultaneously playing music using another MP3 player app at full volume?

  • Like we can play VLC player video and Mp3 in WMP simultaneously, with different volume settings. Is is possible.

  • Answer:

    This feature is currently not supported in MX Player. They did talk about including this in their next major update. You could play other players along with MX Player (Settings -> Player -> Deselect "Stop other Players") but it doesn't serve your purpose unless you already have a muted video to begin with.

NOT POSSIBLE AT ALL (at least til now) In any android, you can play only one audio/video at one time. Android doesn't allow two instances at same time, and Speaker process only accept one stream at time. Example: when you're playing music and notification comes, the music pauses & notification tune plays. And then Music resumes. And why the hell you want to watch videos at zero volume, what's the point in it ?

Why is it that you said "(at least til now)"? Is there a method for doing this now? The reason I want to do this is so I can play a muted exercise video while I listen to music.

It is not possible. Only one sound outcome is possible at a time . Imagine that you're playing music and suddenly notification comes, then the music stops for a while & notification tune plays.

That isn’t possible with regular media players or youtube in Android devices.
