First thing to do is to turn off the conversation feature. Conversations in Yahoo Mail - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN15878.html?impressions=true Enable or disable Conversations in Yahoo Mail - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN15805.html?impressions=true Once that is turned off your emails should be sorted by date, newest to oldest. Sort your emails - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN3535.html?impressions=true If you're unable to contact Yahoo Customer Care via phone you could try online product support. Start here - https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?page=home&locale=en_US Some issues qualify for email support. If your issue does you will see an "Email" link under Recommended options.

My email format just changed about two weeks ago...to a new, I guess business like format. I switched back to the basic but it was not the same...so I had to switch back to the full featured. All this happened around the time yahoo stared using drop box to open all attachments...Thanks...

There is no old email format. Those were all gone a long time ago. We cannot change the way emails are threaded in full featured or Basic Mail. There is no way to flip the threads.
