What is a good adwords conversion rate?

How do I tie paying acccounts to a specific Adwords campaign when I track Conversion Rate on free trials?

  • Answer:

Depends.  Are you using conversion tracking?  Depending on your setup, you can use tracking URLs (suffixes) to track which ads are generating the conversions.  You won't be able to track on an individual sign-up level, but you can see which ads are leading to the most free trials.  I'm a little confused by your question though: CTR isn't nearly as relevant to conversions (free trials or paid accounts) as your Conversion Rate is. Is that what you meant?  Feel free to contact me to discuss further.

I think your question largely deals with conversion tracking. although Question is Not Clear but let me take some assumption. I believe your site offers free trial and payment basis subscription so a visitor can become paying in two scenario. 1. By directly starting a subscription as paying customer. 2. By first taking a free trial and then converting to paying customer. One way I Say a problem can be solved or made complex by setting two different conversion goals for paying customers and free trials in Adwords and then mapping back to analytics data. I've been looking for this forever, and I just found a company that does it: https://attributionapp.com - I'm trying to spread the gospel because they're a new kid and I want them to thrive. They do exactly what you're looking for, full conversion tracking from multiple campaigns down to the user level.
