How many days for Venice-Florence-Genoa-Milan tour?

I think the minimun per city is 3 days, maximun 4 or 5. These cities are pretty small and totally walkeable (at least the touristic parts). So I'd say at least 2 weeks. If you stay 4 or 5 days each you couls see some other cities nearby such as Verona near Venice, or Siena, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano near Florence.
