Is democracy a satire in India for dictatorship?

• With increasing scams day by day and no explanations/justifications by our ruling government , the democracy which has been swanked by us really exists or it is just the platform for one party or another to impose there rule without any accountability.

• Answer:

  Democracy exists in small things, like, allowing such harmless questions to be asked over internet, among the intelligentsia, who do not make up the vote banks of the country. We are made to believe that we did win independence, that those times were worse, the present generation hasn't seen those times, and for all we know er may have been better off. Scams are getting bigger day by day, for what, to get money for elections, for there is no other way they can/ will have to spend that huge stash of cash, and if it all does boil down to collecting money for elections, shouldn't they ( we ) try to do the right just for once, and see if that can also make them win, for sometimes people need their faith to be rewarded.
