Hi, I think it's key to illustrate the value you can add as an SEO consultant. Don't just promise rankings, promise profit. Make sure to explain clearly how you will achieve this. Show them how seo leads to rankings, rankings to traffic, traffic to conversions and conversions to profit. Long story short; think like a businessman, not as an SEO expert (during your sales pitch ofcourse)!
