The browser scans for text outside the bounds of English characters and words. Words not found in the English dictionary are checked for presence in a different language. This decision is not based on only one word, but presence of such words in a significant percentage of the page.

Just to give further clarity... I found a complete English language front end for the web page, but Google Chrome was showing a prompt that the current language is Malay and do I want to convert to English.. So was not sure what is the criteria for the browser to check the web page langauge
