University of Hyderabad: How many students write the entrance? Out of that, how many get selected for the interview? And, out of that how many get selected for MSc Mathematics? Please help.

I am not sure how many students write the exam, but close to a hundred are selected for interview. The final number of students selected is around 40.

I believe its approximately 1/16th of the students who appear for entrance test will get admission. That’s what i remember from a speech on freshers welcome day in 2005.
