Best Free email service?

What is the best free hosted email service (for custom domain names)?

  • Note that I am a big fan of Google Apps, and every answer I've found to this question points to them, however, in the past few months they have discontinued the free version of the service.  I need something that I can sign up for free with new domains.

    Assuming you can't even pay $5/month, and you don't have a linux server to setup your own mail server, then you will need free hosting and a free mail server. The only way I think of getting this is signing up for http://www.microsoft.com/bizspark/

I found Zoho mail service http://www.zoho.com/mail/email-accounts.html and currently I'm using http://www.domains.live.com/, but it's not good enough, I can't manage account from admin panel. And I'm still looking for a other services
