Put your legs together, keep your arms behind your back, take a deep breath, and jump into the water. The goal is to float on the water and stay alive for as long as possible (without using your legs and arms) while occasionally getting your head out of the water to breath. You always need to have your lungs full of air in order to keep floating. Great psychological and physical training.
