  Good question. I will not recommend rereading the material, as not only is it highly unenjoyable, it also creates an illusion of knowledge as you're already familiar with the text. Instead, here are some things you can do to start over and relearn: - List out the contents and reflect over your weak points. - For your weak points, try to recall how much you know, and find out what you don't know. - Try to patch your weaknesses and gaps by restudying and practicing them. For example if I'm weak at solving trigonometric equations, I'll just focus specifically on that first. - Collect materials of the same topic, so learning it again not only feels fresh, you'll learn it from another author's perspective. - Take a step back and look at the bigger picture; ask yourself what's the overall focus of the subject, and what's the outcome you'd like to achieve.
