How to find status updates on new Facebook?

What are some suggestions for resolving issues with sharing to Facebook not working for status updates on Path?

  • Since I have installed Path 2.0, Facebook integration has never worked for status updates (it works for finding friends, though). Tried several app de-authorizations and re-authrorizations on Facebook, and also completely uninstalled and reinstalled both apps with no results. Have written to Path service support about 5 days ago, but haven't received any answer yet. Would anyone know how to fix this? I find Path to be a real gem and would like it to become my primary social network, but being unable to propagate status updates to Facebook would make this task almost impossible for the time being ...

As a community manager, it makes me sad that these guys are unresponsive and people have to turn to Quora for answers. I'm having the same issue, only with all of my services. I pinged PathService on Twitter, but I'm not holding my breath for a response.

I had the same problem. I got back the auth dialog (go on Path's website and remove the FB connexion and go on Facebook and remove the app's authorization). Then, when you'll hit the small fb button at the bottom of the screen, it will ask you to connect to facebook and to reauth the app. Though... still not posting on Facebook -_-x

I deleted the Path app from Facebook, and then re-authenticated from within the iOS Path app. It worked fine again after that.

When I try to authenticate path in Facebook, only "Access your friend list" can be choosed. There is no "Posts on your behalf", What problem should it be? the bug of Path or setting error in my Facebook. Added: I sent a help request to Path service.They gave me the answer below: "Thank you so much for alerting us to this and I so apologize for our delay in responding to you! Please know that our engineering team is aware of this issue with moments not cross-posting to Facebook. They are in the process of sorting out a fix so please look for an update addressing this issue in the near future."

I deleted path app from facebook but still not working. I updated my path about 30 mins ago, hoping the problem fixed. And the problem really fixed..
