How can I protect playing cards from water damage?
-
I have a deck of Monty Python Fluxx, a weird game. I had to buy another deck because of a water spill that made one of the cards in my previous deck all soggy. I presume that these are not plastic-coated as are most cards, and I want to treat them at home so that I won't lose another deck. I know about Scotchgard and art fixative, but are there any better solutions? (pun intended)

Answer:
You can put them in card sleeves. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0050DEOC2/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?qid=1386816869&sr=1-14&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70

Rustoleum came out with a product that repels water. I think it's called Neverwet.

you can buy card sleeves as they areĀ made in such a way that it not only keeps your cards safe but itself is long lasting and durable. Before purchasing you can review here http://kmccardsleeve.com.au/
