What are some general differences between trading on no-news and big-news days?
-
Or little news vs days with big news coming out. Are there certain patterns or strategies you employ in either case? What should you look out for?
-
Answer:
No news days, you tend to get consistent flow of the commodity being traded, there's no pre-sell or buyers/sellers doing nothing 'until' the news. Big news days, like US non-farm payroll (today) price does absolutely nothing as everyone is sitting on their hands waiting for the news.
