ONLINE GMAT CLASSROOM COACHING?

What are the best GMAT coaching institutes in Noida - New Delhi Area?

  • I am looking for good GMAT coaching centers , it would be great if they have some course plans for working professionals.

  • Answer:

While there are a lot of coaching institutes in the area, you should go for the one that suits you the best. These are the parameters that should help you decide: 1. Your schedule: If you are working, in most probability you will have sufficient time on weekends. So choose one which has classes on weekends. We, at http://edvento.com have a live online course with classes on weekends. You can view the schedule here: http://www.edvento.com/gmat/gmat-live-online-sessions 2. Do you need personal attention: Look at the class size. If the class size is beyond 6-8, it is less likely that you will get personal attention. In GMAT, it is the quality of preparation that matters over quantity. So with limited practice, you need more time discussing problems or concepts that especially you need to clarify. There you need some personal tutor time. 3. Approachability of the tutor

Hi to all…..!!!Let me start by confessing that I studied from EduShastra and I belong to their Alumni Club.Teaching ModelEduShastra offers a Hybrid Customized Interactive teaching model for GMAT Preparation. It will be Blend of Online home classes, Classroom-coaching, Home group classes & 1-on-1 tutoring. They believe that Education should be interactive, two-dimensional, personalized and should be able to customize itself for every student.Education SolutionsThey offer "Customized and Personalized" Solutions. You can ask for Regular Programs, only Verbal or only Quant programs or any other specific customization.Batch SizeTheir Batch Size is small, sizes of 5, 7 or 9 students.Admission Standard Operating ProcedureEvery new student is mapped into a “Zero Group” for a week. Zero group is also called “Introductory Phase Group”. After a week, on the basis of everyone’s performance in the class and our internal “Mapping System”, students are invited for Regular or Elite batches.Internal Mapping System is a process to mark or rate students on the basis of their Intellect, Intelligence (IQ), Aptitude, Attitude and Commitment. And in all this listed parameters, they consider “Commitment” as a very important parameter in a student. They believe that all things can be learnt and all skills can be acquired, if student is committed to his/her goal.Mapping system also helps us in making “Homogenous Batches”. Same mapped students are grouped into same batch.Batch Selection MethodologyThey follow scientific selection and batch-making process. Batches are made on the basis of our internal "Parameter Mapping". Same mapped students are grouped into same batch. In this way they create homogenous groups in terms of Intellect, Intelligence (IQ), Aptitude, Attitude and Commitment. It also brings meaningful competition in groups. This also helps us in creating course Syllabus, Curriculum and deciding course pace for a batch.Timings & Day ScheduleThey give very high flexibility in terms of batch timings and sessions days. Students can ask for any timings in a day or any Days choice in a week. Due to small batches they are able to incorporate most of the demands.Elite BatchesThey offer Two Elite batches: "700+ Batch" & "750+ Batch". Both these batches comes with "Money-Back Guarantee". New Students cannot opt for these batches, the admission is through "Invitations" only.PromotionsThey don't do any promotions. They don't buy toppers. They don't "Woo" any student.Course StructureAll GMAT Courses comprehensively covers all four sections: An analytical writing assessment, Integrated reasoning, the Quantitative section, and the Verbal section. All GMAT courses whether regular or customized are unique in their structure. All Courses are divided into three phases: Introductory Phase: This phase is done at the course starting, usually it takes 2-4 sessions. In this phase, GMAT Instructors tries to analyze every student in the batch on the basis of their interaction with them. In this phase, every student is given a presumptive mapping score and batches are shuffled to create groups of same mapped individuals. This phase takes 10% of total course time. Foundation Phase: In this phase subject materials are covered. All the four GMAT namely AWA, IR, Quantitative & Verbal is covered. This phase is usually 40% of the whole course. CP Phase-I (Testing Phase) & CP Phase-II (Control Phase) CP stands for “Customized & Personalized”. Both these words have lost their meaning in education industry. Rather, Recorded lectures are also promoted with “Customized & Personalized” headline.Customize is modify (something) to suit a particular individual or task.Personalize is design or produce (something) to meet someone's individual requirements. Personalization is an evolved form of Customization. This last phase covers 50% of the whole course. In testing phase, students are given access to “Question Bank”. This phase also involves CAT-Computer Adaptive Tests. The number of CATs depends upon the course taken. Example: 2-Months Course comes with 11-12 computer adaptive tests. The last phase “Control Phase” involves working on each and every student “Weak Areas”. This phase changes according to student performance in the CATs. This phase can be an ideal example of the word “Personalization”. Not only the course teaching but even the CATs will change itself for each & every student. Example: If the identified weak area is “Sentence Correction”, then CATs will have more than 70-80% of the questions from SC.Course MaterialEduShastra GMAT Library Features & Facets:Total GMAT Material: More than 11 K Pages.Question Bank: More than 40 K Questions.Practice Tests: Full Length Paper-Based Test: More than 310 Paper-Based Tests. Full Length Computer-Based Test: More than 450 Computer-Based Tests. Full Length Computer Adaptive Test (CAT): More than 70 Ready Tests. Capability to make more than five tests every day. Customised Computer Adaptive Test (CCAT): Depends upon each student need. Capability to make more than eleven tests every day. EduShastra GMAT Course Fees:For 60 Hours (2 months Course) GMAT Fees: 17–18 K. That is Rs. 300 per hour or 4 Dollars per hour.GMAT FacultyTheir faculty can be called missionaries who are working under their banner not only for money but also share same mission and direction. The average age of faculty is 45-47 years, who have spent most of their lives in education space. Total teacher strength in GMAT department is 271 teachers with 60 GMAT Instructors. All batches are assigned a Teachers Panel which usually have 4-8 teachers which take care of all course requirements. They believe that teacher is a paternalistic leader who works by acting as a father figure by taking care of their subordinates as a parent would. In this style of leadership, the leader supplies complete concern for his students.Other Features: Feedback Form: Every class ends with feedback form…Online as well as offline…Whenever I filled anything in the feedback, i could see changes. Teachers used to talk about it or act on it. For Example: I wrote once in feedback form that i need difficult questions and next time the teacher handed me a booklet of very difficult questions. Veto Powers: Students are also given Veto powers. Students can block a teacher from the panel. Teachers Salary: In EduShastra teachers are paid well. Quality comes at price. Check naukri website and see how different companies pay the teachers. Most of the education companies takes teacher in the salary range of 1–4 Lpa whereas average salary of EduShastra teachers is in the range of 8–9 Lpa. Check Naukri website, you will be surprised. I recall a survey in US where it was found that the lowest SAT score students were only aiming to be teacher. Culture & Respect: Most of the coaching institute treat teachers very badly. They are treated as slaves. Even students knows it and they also treat their teacher as their servants. But I have seen in EduShastra that even CEO Mr. Parashar adresses teachers with suffix “Ji”. And students are asked to treat the teachers as practised in “Gurukul” ideology Please check their website http://www.EduShastra.com for more details.

Hi!I will be joining Indiana Kelley in the coming fall (they have been generous to offer me full scholarship). My association with Experts’ Global has had an important role to play in this journey. I was based out of Noida when I took my GMAT. Following are the main GMAT institutes in Noida, to the best of my knowledge.1. Experts' Global2. TIME3. Jamboree4. Career LauncherI had taken a demo class with Jamboree and TIME. However, I finally zeroed down on Experts' Global (http://www.expertsglobal.com/). I felt a personalized, non-commercial approach at Experts’ Global, something that I was looking for. The Founder, Mayank Srivastava was referred to me by a friend. Based on my interaction with him, he seemed more thorough in his approach for GMAT.Personally I was enrolled in Experts' Global's GMAT guidance program (a self-preparatory + videos option) as I did not have the bandwidth to attend offline classes and I had already done some preparation. I still ended up spending a lot of time at their Sector-18 office for my preparation as well as applications and there were times when we sat with the Mentors at Experts’ until midnight, discussing first GMAT and later, applications. Such commitment in the Test Prep industry is seldom heard of.They also have GMAT classroom program, some of my friends have attended the classroom session and the feedback has been excellent. Mayank himself teaches a very small group of students and to my best knowledge, he teaches only one batch per week. For people who are looking for a structured and peer focused classroom learning, this can be a great option. While I had a great experience with Experts’ Global, I will recommend the readers to kindly research well around all options and then take a well deliberated decision.Hope this helps! :)

Don't go for coaching. Normally gmat preparation will take max 3 months if you are not working but if you are working then 6 months. All the good materials required for Gmat is available online. But when it comes to coaching it will be difficult to manage coaching along with job. Even if you are stuck in particular topic they will continue their course as they will teach according to the deadline set by the institute for that particular batch. I am saying all this as I have experienced it and later opted for self study. Materials are also crop because they will not give you knowledge in depth. Save money by not giving it to coaching institute.

Hello Utkarsh and PrabhatThanks for A2A. I never took any classroom coaching for GMAT and I don't think it is necessary at all, as an online course is more than enough to land you with a 720+ score. But still if you insist, I have heard good things about Top One Percent (Sandeep Mishra). Do check their demo classes. Hope it helps. Let me know if you have more queries.

I visited the Jamboree Noida center today to have an over view about their GMAT training package. The person who spoke to me had good  selling skills, and was trying his best to convince me to join their center ASAP. The center had extremely professional look and was garnered with flyers narrating success stories. Typical luring tactics! But the decision to shell out a hefty fees based entirely on a single meeting is very tough to take! Left me more confused. My suggestion: it is entirely on the skills of the candidate to ace any entrance exam (GMAT included). External institutes can only help sharpen your skills and give you some extra tips and insights. Best to target a coaching center that has easier accessibility and suitable timings for you. The study material and faculties are almost the same everywhere. If you have decided to spend a hefty fees, I hope you are and would remain serious and focused till the exam date. Work hard, and hope for the best! Take your time to take a decision, and stick with it till it executes successfully. All the best :)
