How To See Tagged Photos?

Why can't I see photos that others tagged of me on my Facebook profile?

  • When I go to my timeline and click "Photos" and look at all the "Photos of Me," none of the photos that my friends have tagged of me recently are there. It's just everything that I've tagged of myself. If I go back far enough, there are pictures that others tagged me in several months ago. It seems to be a new problem that's just started over the past few months. This wouldn't bother me as much if it wasn't for the fact that sometimes I want to make a photo I was tagged in my profile picture or cover photo. I can't do that unless it is on my profile already.

I'd start by checking your Privacy Settings. Facebook has very complicated settings for your privacy, and there could easily be something odd in you settings restricting this. Likewise, it could also have to do with the privacy settings of the photo itself, set by the friend who uploaded that particular photo.

Other answers

Can you normally see the pictures (in the timelines of the other people)? (and you as tagged in them?) If so, then it's a bug in your browser/account (yes I've seen bugs affecting individual accounts). If you can't see the pictures, no wonder they don't appear.
