If your grades are not the best in Highschool, and you would like to go to college in the future, does it matter about the grades you had in highschool or does it really matter unless you plan to get good grades in college?

Im a Freshman in Highschool, and i really want to go to college, and i want to go to either Michigan state university, or Missouri (Mizzou) i would like to apply to both early, but my grades arent the best but i wish they were better than what they really are.

Answer:
The grades that really matter are from 10th and 11th grade, so figure out how to get your grades up! Talk to your teachers if you're not sure why you don't do better, and follow their advise.

If your grades are terrible, then you won't get into MSU or Mizzou. Although neither are considered to be top-tier schools, they still have standards. Luckily for you, as a freshman, you still have some time to improve your current standings.
