Where can I see deep space time-lapse photography?
-
After reading an article about "bullets" in the Orion Nebula, I wondered, "Why are these merely still photos in this day and age?" We saw time lapse of comets assaulting Jupiter, prominences from the Sun, but in deep space everything appears static and two dimensional. Where are the still sequences and time lapse images that may off narrow but revealing glimpses of galactic-scale motion in the Cosmos?
-
Answer:
Most objects seen in deep space are such a vast distance away that their rapid motions don't produce a visible shift from our viewpoints. They'd look much the same from year to year. I have seen some time-lapse pictures of galactic jets
