Is it wrong to charge a gadget even when it still has around 50% or above battery life?

Answer:
Nope, we can charge them at any time, nowadays smartphones/other electronics are smart enough to stop charging after the battery is full/100%. I've recently visited apple store and asked the same question, the Genius said that, she would leave her mobile on charge all night and get 100% before coming to work(even though the battery is half full already), like i do the same from past 6 yrs and i didn't had any problems with the gadgets i use. Except for my laptop- its been 2.5 yrs and it is showing some difference in battery backup now(it used to be 3 hrs, now i get only 2 hrs of backup-Lenovo G570 6-cell battery) but a good suggestion is , once every other week, use the gadget until it drains out the whole juice and start charging from ground Zero..!
