What are some interesting internship opportunities for high school students around the world?

I go to a traveling boarding school and I'm looking for internships/jobs for the 2013 summer. Interests: -Non-Profits. -Start-Ups. -Sustainability. -Technology. -Design. -Investment banking.

It would help if you were more specific about where you were traveling and how long you'll be there. It'll be hard for you to find work since you'll be traveling and employers want someone they'll have for a while, even for internships. Will you have the legal right to work in the countries you visit? The best bets with the interests you list are probably do open source or side projects, reading, and meeting with academics in countries you visit. These won't pay anything if that's what you're hoping for though.
