What do I need to get a good job in programming?

I Am Seeking a Software Engineering Job: Im a third year ece student. can u please guide me what are programming languages i need to know to get recruited in ITcompanies such as infosys, wipro, tcs, etc?

    If you are looking for a career in Software Industry, I highly recommend you not to join companies that you have mentioned. First thing is you have to decide what you want to do in Software engineering - some people are interested in backend core programming, some in web development, some people in front end technologies. Skill set required is as follows: 1. Backend: Algorithms, Data structures, problem solving 2. web development: ruby on rails, python, php 3. front end: html, css, js, angularJS, jquery Just pick one of these and get enough knowledge and join a startup. Believe me, in a startup your learning curve will be way higher than you could have imagined and in no time, you will see your skill set increasing at a good pace(assuming you are in the right place) and your career along with it.

Bro ! As you are an ece student .. you can also go through as an firmware engineer or device driver engineer where we also need some or most of the programming skills like c , ds , c++ too ... and also these are so intresting fields n toughest one also. As you are thinking to move towards software field .. its really goin too much hard coz fr that u need to know all f the stuff specially j2se j2ee needs to be very much strong and so on .. if you look wage wise .. then theres no doubt  that u can earn equal or more than equal than soft engineer ..in field of firmware or device driver engineer ... rest is yours intrest .. best of luck dude ..
