Should I start learning web development in PHP just for sake of getting job?

There are lot of job openings for PHP web developer compared to other programming languages, but problem is that I searched on StackOverflow and found that people have advised not to learn PHP, it will learn you bad programming practices, instead learn web development in python/ django.
