Interesting ideas to design an empty space.

I'd like to plan the outdoor space for aesthetic purpose. What are some nice tropical garden design ideas for an area of 40' x 80'?

For tropical plants you need plenty of light and sun. You should choose yhe south side of the garden. If you want flowers, my choise is orchid, its nice, decorative and doesn't need much maintenance. There are plenty of shrubs wich I don't really know :) and ofcours theres the pal tree. Honestly at my workplace we don't really have to create tropical garden plans so I'm not so good at this, but if I had to create one I would build a little lake with fishes. Sorry of bad english, hope you understood what I wanted to say and it helped you.
