I recently deleted cookies on my Facebook account and now I can't log into Facebook through Firefox. FB recognizes my account, but why can't I access my profile or submit a bug report when my email address is valid?
-
I can however, access my Facebook account through Chrome. Are there settings in Firefox that I need to restore or change to allow access?
-
Answer:
Sounds like you are entering in the wrong password in Firefox and you have the right one saved in Chrome. I have seen Facebook use your email address to show your identity at the login screen but if your password doesn't match you can't proceed. I bet changing your password will clear this up.
