What are the good blogs and open source projects to start learning server side programming using JSP in java?

I want to learn how communication happens between client and server so I need some good documents and blogs which can guide me to how to create a URL for server and do server side programming to understand the request from URL and return the requested data back to client and do required client side programming in Java.
