Xcode: What's the best way to render a barcode on an iOS device?

  • We're interested exclusively in PDF417 and/or DataMatrix barcodes - but it should be able to render one of them. Ideally, it'd be an Objective-C class that we can drop into Xcode. We've tried a few libraries that didn't support PDF417 or DataMatrix and are a little concerned that the paid libraries that do support those formats might not have the tech support we'd need going forward. We'd very much prefer to render the barcode on the client (rather than send an image from a server). That way we can use less bandwidth.
