What are good product ideas?

Are these good business product ideas?

  • Hi there, I am currently developing some ideas into possible business products and would be *very* grateful for your feedback. Based on my previous requirements and my skills,I believe that useful, practical guides and information products, aimed at other small businesses, entrepreneurs and freelancers are the types of products I want to develop. After brainstorming, I have come up with a list of six ideas for products that I have the skill to create. If you have five minutes, I would be very grateful if you could respond to a survey I have created on these ideas, you can find the survey here: http://bbpnts.com/11lXiCo The ideas are: 1. Google AdWords Negative Keyword Lists and Guide - Useful to people with AdWords PPC accounts, this would provide well researched lists of negative keywords to improve ad performance and drive more conversions, whilst reducing costs. 2. Measuring Customer Satisfaction - How to get effective feedback from your customers including the questions to ask, survey techniques and tools, incentivizing surveys and acting on the results 5. How to Calculate Your Rates and Price Your Services - A guide and spreadsheet that helps you understand what it costs to run your business and the rates you need to charge to stay in business, pay a salary and make a profit. Includes sections on business budgets, expenses and competitor analysis. 6. Building the Reputation of Your Business - Practical things that you can do to enhance the reputation and trust of your business including: serving your niche well, explaining your products and services so people can easily understand them, making it easy to contact you and the like. Please, your response to my survey will be very much appreciated and I will be making a donation to charity for every response I receive. • Answer:

No shortcuts here - sorry. 1) Pick your favorite 2) find 20 people who you think might buy it (no friends, they are too biased) 3) find out how they solve this problem today, and what pain points they have 4) determine if they would be willing to pay money to solve this pain 5) if yes, build a basic solution and try and sell it to them Don't be married to your original idea - keep iterating between ideas and versions until you find one they want to buy. Good luck!
