Tibet Hotel is a really good mainstay. Good selection to please everyone (Indian/Tibetan & Chinese). No MSG in the food.

Mayfair Restaurant: It is a extension of the Resort, and both the in-hotel and out-hotel customers are entertained. Budget-High 2. Gangtalk: It is restaurant located at MG Marg, the marketplace of Sikkim. So, after eating you can digest some of it, strolling around the traffic and litter free MG Marg. Budget-Average 3. Square: Another restaurant located at MG Marg. Budget-Average Simiilarly, there are many in MG marg itself who share fair amount of popularity. 4. Also there are various Indian Cuisine Restaurants like Apna Dhaba etc. if you are planning to skip Sikkimese cuisine. But in my opinion, the dingy eating joints that the taxi drivers halt during the transit of to and from Siliguri(nearest Railway station and Airport) esp. Melli, Geilkhola and Kirney, gives you the idea of what Sikkimese food tastes like. PS: Almost all the restaurants in Sikkim serve alcohol.
